HOW DO I GAIN ACCESS TO THE #AFO52 PROGRAMME?
You can get free accreditation by filling in and sending us the accreditation form. In addition to the accreditation card, you can buy the festival catalogue, the limited-edition festival t-shirt and a priority seat reservation in the projection hall. All this will be waiting for you the day before the start of the festival on Monday 24 April 2017 in the festival centre in Konvikt (Univerzitní 3). From Tuesday 25 April forward, free accreditations can be picked up (or signed up for) also in the Metropol cinema or in the interactive science museum Fortress of Knowledge.
HOW CAN I GET THE RESERVATION?
For a one-time fee of CZK 250, you will gain access to the reservation system. The payment is made via the GP webpay payment getaway during the accreditation process. This will allow you make seat reservations for selected screenings and lectures right in the Programme section on the website www.afo.cz/en/ from 10 April 2017. The number of reservations is limited to 4 shows a day and is valid for one person only. From Tuesday 25 April, it will be possible to buy the priority seat reservation during the accreditation in the festival centre. In this case, you can also pay cash in the festival shop in the Konvikt atrium. However, we do recommend that you purchase your priority seat reservation ahead of time as the capacity of reservation system is also limited.
HOW DO I RESERVE A SEAT AT THE SCREENING?
The reservation system will be launched after the festival programme is released on Monday 10 April 2017. After logging in on the website http://www.afo.cz/en/, you will be able to manage your reservations in the Programme section. After logging in the reservation system, you will enter your email and password when making a seat reservation. You will fill in your email and your chosen password when filling out the accreditation form. The summary information including your data will be sent to you by e-mail upon the receipt of payment. Access to the reservation system will be granted only to the accredited visitors whose payment has been recorded.
HOW DOES THE ENTRY WITH A RESERVATION WORK?
The reservation will be registered on an individual accreditation card with your name and a barcode. A special counter for registered visitors will be stood in front of each projection hall. In order to make the remaining seats available for other visitors, reservations will be closed 5 minutes prior to the start of the programme. As the reservations do not include a specific seat number, we recommend that you arrive ahead of time in case you want to sit together with your friends. You will not be allowed to hold seats for other people.
WILL IT BE POSSIBLE TO BUY A SEAT RESERVATION LATER DURING THE FESTIVAL?
Yes, it will, but it is necessary to get accredited via the form available on the website http://www.afo.cz/en/ once more and enter an alternative email address. Eventually, you can contact the head of accreditation at firstname.lastname@example.org with the request of erasing your previous accreditation.
WHAT IS THE CAPACITY OF THE PROJECTION HALLS?
The information on the capacity of all projection halls is available on the festival website in the Festival Venues section. In the Programme section, you can find out how many free seats there are left for reservation. Please note that reservations will never fulfil the whole capacity of a hall. Corridors will be prepared for visitors without the access to the registration system enabling them to wait until all the reservation entries are finished.
WILL THE ACCREDITATIONS BE TRANSFERABLE?
Yes, accreditation cards will be transferable. Identities will be checked only when collecting the accreditation card. In order to check your identity, an email address will be needed. In the case of accreditation with the possibility of seat reservation, the password you will have chosen will also be needed. In case you get accredited to AFO52 but cannot attend, you can delegate your card to another person. However, with the request, it is necessary to contact the head of accreditation - email@example.com.
WHEN AND WHERE CAN I COLLECT MY ACCREDITATION?
All accreditations can be collected from 10 a.m. on Monday 24 April on the ground floor of the Art Centre of PU in Konvikt (Univerzitní 3, Olomouc). We recommend that you pick up your accreditation card well before the first screening you want to attend. Accreditations with the reservation option or purchased merchandise (t-shirt or catalogue) will be issued only in AC PU in Konvikt. Free accreditation can be registered and picked up also in the Metropol cinema and the Fortress of Knowledge.
CATALOGUES, T-SHIRTS, BAGS!
Together with accreditation, every visitor receives a printed festival programme for free. Within the online accreditation, you can purchase the catalogue for a discounted price (until Monday 24 April) or a limited-edition festival t-shirt in your chosen size (until sold out). You can collect the purchased items together with the accreditation card on the ground floor of the Art Centre of PU from Monday 24 April. The catalogue and other promotional materials can be purchased while stocks last also in the festival shop (Atrium AC PU – Konvikt, Univerzitní 3) for the duration of the festival.
